The “Tradition and Islamic Learning: Singapore Students in the Al-Azhar University” by Dr Norshahril Saat was formally launched by Dr Maliki Osman in an event organised by MUIS on 29 June 2018.
Research for the book which examines post-madrasah education for Southeast Asia students pursuing an Islamic Studies degree, especially at the Al-Azhar University, was funded by the Syed Isa Semait Scholar Award from MUIS. For more information or to purchase the book, click here.
