2. Are contributions to ISEAS tax-deductible?
Yes, ISEAS is an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), under ISEAS RESEARCH FUNDS (UEN: T08CC3005F). Singapore-resident individuals and corporate taxpayers enjoy tax relief of 250% for qualified donations made by 31 December 2024.
3. Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
As all donations will be filed electronically to IRAS if you are a qualifying tax resident of Singapore, a tax-deductible receipt for your donation will be sent to you via email.
4. How is ISEAS funded?
ISEAS events and activities, endowment gifts, ISEAS research and general projects are made possible through the generosity of ISEAS donors and institutional partners.
5. How is ISEAS governed?
ISEAS is an autonomous organisation established by an Act of Parliament in 1968, governed by the Board of Trustees. Ambassador Chan Heng Chee is Chairman of ISEAS Board of Trustees and Mr Choi Shing Kwok has led ISEAS as Director, ISEAS since Jan 2018.
