51st Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellow (LKYEF): Visit by HE Say Samal, Minister of the Enviroment, Cambodia

HE Say Samal, Minister of the Environment, Cambodia, visited Singapore from the 24 to 30 January under the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship (LKYEF).

As part of the Programme, HE Say Samal visited ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute and discussed geopolitical issues and trends in Southeast Asia with researchers at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute on 29 January 2016. He also visited the ISEAS Library.

HE Say Samal, accompanied by Counsellor Keam Sarat from the Embassy of Cambodia, met with Mr Tan Chin Tiong, Director of ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. He also discussed issues with ISEAS researchers, Dr Tang Siew Mun, Senior Fellow and Head, and Ms Moe Thuzar, Fellow and Lead Researcher (Socio-Cultural Affairs), both of whom are from the ASEAN Studies Centre.

Following that, HE Say Samal toured the ISEAS Library and was briefed by Head of Library, Mr Pitt Kuan Wah.
