About the Webinar

With the rapidly changing geo-political and economic environment, including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the world including Southeast Asia is experiencing a significant paradigm shift. Brunei Darussalam, as Chair of ASEAN in 2021 with the theme of “We Care, We Prepare, We Prosper”, will work with fellow ASEAN Member States to ensure the Association continues to make progress towards realising the ASEAN Community Vision 2025. At the same time, Brunei Darussalam will pursue initiatives that can directly benefit the people of ASEAN, build greater resilience against future uncertainties and enable sustainable prosperity for all. In 2021, ASEAN will continue to strengthen its emergency preparedness and response, enhance partnerships with external partners for mutual benefits, and cooperate collectively to address the socio-economic concerns of the people.
