14-16 March 2019 - The “Strategic Communication & Coordination For Public Policy Seminar”, organised by ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute in partnership with Temasek Foundation Connects, took place at the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre Meeting Hall in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.

U Khin Maung Tin, Deputy Minister in the Ministry of the Office of State Counsellor, in his opening remarks said that the 3-day programme would provide an opportunity for mid-level officers to address key aspects of crisis management within and across departments, and counter misinformation.
Mr Lim Hock Chuan, CEO Temasek Foundation Connects observed that the programme would "promote an outward-oriented non-insular worldview that appreciates our interconnectedness and inter-dependencies". He also said that Temasek Foundation Connects is happy to partner ISEAS on organising the programme.

About 45 participants from ministries and government offices, the President's Office, the Office of State Counsellor and state governments took part in this seminar which aims to foster a deeper understanding of effective crisis preparedness planning and crisis communications strategies through the sharing of Singapore’s lessons on crisis management and exchange of views.
