About the Seminar
As much of the analysis on Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has centred on domestic politics, this seminar examines the foreign policy aspect of Jokowi’s administration. The presentation will be divided into two parts. The first will provide an appraisal of Indonesia’s foreign policy in Jokowi’s first term from 2014 to 2019, while the second will provide a prognosis of Indonesia’s foreign policy during Jokowi’s second term, after his recent re-election in May 2019.
