The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) launched the ASEAN Economic Bulletin (AEB) in July 1984.
The AEB is an academic journal that publishes empirical and policy relevant research on the following major areas:
1. Economic issues affecting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) grouping or its ten member countries;
2. ASEAN or its members' economic linkages outside the region; and its interfaces and relationships with the global economy.
The journal includes articles and research notes as well as book reviews.
Three issues of the journal are published per year, i.e. in April, August, and December from Volume 15 (1998).
