THE SINGAPORE LECTURE

We have great pleasure in inviting you to the Singapore Lecture, the twenty-ninth in the series, which is to be delivered by The Honourable Kevin Rudd MP, Prime Minister of Australia.  The title of the Lecture is “Australia, Singapore, our region and the world”.

The Lecture will be held under the distinguished Chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for National Security, Professor S Jayakumar, at the Grand Ballroom, The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, on Tuesday, 12 August 2008 from 2.30 pm to 3.45 pm.

The Singapore Lecture has become one of the intellectual highlights of Singapore.  It is designed to provide an opportunity for distinguished statesmen and leaders of thought and knowledge to reach a wider audience in Singapore.  The presence of such eminent personalities will allow members of the civil service, business community, diplomatic corp, academic community and media, the opportunity to hear from leading world figures speak on topics of international and regional concern and interest.

Please confirm your acceptance of this invitation by completing and returning to us the attached Response Form to reach us by 7 August 2008.  The attendees are required to bring the Response Form, showing confirmation by ISEAS Secretariat, to the lecture for admission to the lecture hall.
