ISEAS Library, in late 1993, installed a fully integrated system and developed two major databases, SEALion and SEABase.  In addition, smaller databases have been developed namely Library's biography database, SEABiog, the database of private papers, SEAPriv, and a full text database SEAText containing articles and documents.

SEALion (Southeast Asia Library Online)
The SEALion database, contains bibliographic records of the ISEAS Library’s collection. New records are being added at an average of 500 entries per month.

SEABase (Southeast Asia Database of Articles)
SEABase contains all articles in the Institute’s periodical publications and composite works, as well as relevant articles from selected periodicals considered core to the Institute’s research programmes and projects, and chapters from other relevant composite works.
